Only assault units will be able to be transferred after the CPR
Servicemen are warned that after AWOL (unauthorised abandonment of a unit) transfer is possible only to assault units. This is reported by the Hromadske with reference to military sources.
According to journalists, commanders are passing on relevant messages to their subordinates, emphasising that this is a new approach to the personnel policy of the Armed Forces.
What the new rule means
- Military personnel who left the unit without permission, even after returning or being detained, will not be able to choose a place of service.
- They will be sent to exclusively to assault units, where there is the greatest need for personnel.
- The purpose of the innovation is to discipline and staff the units that perform the most complex tasks at the same time.

According to commanders, The military recruitment process is almost complete. This indicates that:
- The main combat units have already been manned;
- The focus is shifting to internal redistribution of personnel;
- cases of SWD will have a much more severe impact on further service.
