Energy infrastructure facilities in Chernihiv were damaged as a result of an attack by Russian troops.
Due to the Russian attack, part of the city was temporarily left without electricity.
Local authorities have confirmed that emergency crews are already working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling. Power companies promise to restore electricity supply as soon as possible.
«The occupiers are once again targeting civilian infrastructure. Emergency works are currently underway to restore power supply as soon as possible,» the city administration said.
Mobile and internet connections were also reported to be disrupted in several areas of the city. There is no information on civilian casualties.
The Chernihiv Regional State Administration urged citizens to follow safety rules during air raid alerts and stay in shelters if possible.
