Case opened in Odesa region over kennel with almost a hundred dogs in terrible conditions
In Izmail, Odesa region, law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings over the activities of a kennel where almost 100 purebred dogs in inappropriate conditions.
According to preliminary data, the animals were kept in filth and unsanitary conditions, without proper care and veterinary assistance.

The situation was reported by animal volunteers who recorded chaotic breeding, deaths and critical conditions of the animals.
Activists emphasise that such conditions pose a threat not only to the dogs themselves, but also to the sanitary safety of the community.
Actions of law enforcement agencies
The police have launched a pre-trial investigation and are establishing all the circumstances of the incident, including those responsible for keeping the animals and possible violations of cruelty legislation.
The issue of the dogs' fate and their possible transfer to the care of volunteer organisations is also being resolved.
