In Sumy, massive civilian injuries were recorded as a result of Russian strikes. Among the victims are 16 children. Residential buildings and vehicles were damaged.

According to the National Police, 30 people were injured in Sumy over the course of one day. Among the victims are 16 children. Three more people were injured in Sumy region.
The city's medical services are providing the necessary assistance to the victims. Information on the exact state of health of the wounded is not yet available.
Destruction of housing infrastructure
The shelling damaged 14 multi-storey residential buildings. Destruction was also recorded in 15 private houses.
Local authorities are assessing the extent of the damage and organising the evacuation of residents of damaged buildings.
Destruction of transport
In addition to residential buildings, the shelling damaged 36 cars. Many of them were heavily damaged, some were completely destroyed.
