Russian air attacks reached record levels in winter

The President of Ukraine released large-scale figures on Russian attacks and drew a parallel with the events in the Middle East.

Zelensky: Russia has launched almost 19 thousand drones in three months of winter

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that in the three months of winter, Russia has used against Ukraine:

- nearly 19,000 attack drones;
- more than 14,670 guided aerial bombs (GAB);
- 738 missiles.

According to the Head of State, these figures demonstrate the intensity of air terror against Ukraine.

Zelenskyy stressed that these are the same types of attack drones that the Iranian regime is currently using in the Middle East.

The President emphasised that Ukraine's experience is indicative for partners who are currently facing similar threats.

Russia is systematically using combined air attacks against Ukrainian cities and critical infrastructure.

Ukraine is calling on its allies to increase the supply of air defence systems, stressing the growing use of drones, missiles and bombs.
