President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine has coordinated its diplomatic efforts for the coming weeks. The government is preparing further measures in collaboration with its partners
Prime Minister Sergey Koretsky reported to the President on the implementation of agreements already reached with partners and the preparation of further steps. Among the countries with which this work is ongoing, Zelensky mentioned Canada, Norway and other key partners.
The President stated that Ukrainian ministries and the team at the Office of the President must work much more quickly and fully implement the agreements discussed at leadership level. This applies first and foremost to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Economy.
According to Zelenskyy, in order to cover the defence deficit and energy needs, the development of social programmes To support Ukrainian business activity, every opportunity for cooperation with partners should be utilised. He emphasised that none of these opportunities should be missed, and that the work should yield tangible results.
The energy sector is one of the practical channels for international support ahead of winter. According to the Energy Community Secretariat, the partners and the Ukrainian side have called for a further €650 million to be channelled into the Ukraine Energy Support Fund to meet the priority needs of the power system.
Additional work has been agreed for veterans’ programmes
The President also mentioned that various partners were interested in supporting veterans’ programmes in Ukraine. He highlighted the need for the relevant ministry to take a much more active role in this area.
