According to reports from local news sources, a Russian drone this morning 13 September attacked the area around the international road border crossing «Yagodin – Dorohusk» in the Volyn region.
Initial reports suggest that the strike hit a petrol station near the border with Poland. A major fire broke out following the strike — footage released shows large flames and thick smoke.
Local media are also reporting that fires involving lorries, which were situated next to the petrol station.
The type of drone is provisionally referred to as «Geranium-2», the Russian version of the Shahed strike drone. However, at the time of publication, the Air Force had not separately confirmed either the type of aircraft or the specific target it had struck.
«Yagodin» is one of the key border crossings between Ukraine and Poland
