The Russian Ministry of Defence announced that 95 drones were shot down over Crimea and the Black Sea during the night of 7 June. Sevastopol declared an air alert three times: from 02:07 to 02:43, from 06:46 to 06:56, and from 08:26, when it has been ongoing. The governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev reported the downing of one drone in the area of Fiolent at 09:16.
During the alert, mobile firing teams were working in the area of Cape Fiolent, and a Pantsyr missile was launched in the direction of Artbukhta. The shooting continued even after the alarm was cancelled.
Traffic restrictions and infrastructure implications
The Occupation Centre for Roads reported a temporary traffic blockade on the Crimean bridge at 09:29. This is due to security measures in connection with incidents on the peninsula. In Bilohirsk district, fire trucks were sent to the site of possible damage to a military unit in the village of Ichki and the sound of rockets in the village of Donskoye, Simferopol district.
