A strike on a key oil and gas facility in the south of Russia
SBU dealt a heavy blow to the oil and gas terminal «Tamanneftgaz» in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai. The complex is the largest in the south of the country for the transhipment of liquefied hydrocarbons and plays a key role in supplying resources that fund the Russian Federation’s military operations.
According to intelligence reports, the drones struck five tanks containing petroleum products in the tank farm and two oil loading bays. The strikes on these facilities caused fires, which also spread to the lorry park and the terminal’s storage infrastructure.

«Tamanneftogaz» is a source of funding for the Russian Federation’s war machine, as oil revenues are being channelled into missiles, drones and ammunition. Striking the complex would significantly reduce the enemy’s ability to sustain the war against Ukraine.
