A woman filming the aftermath of strikes on thermal power plants for Russia is detained in Kyiv
У Kyiv law enforcement officers detained a woman who, according to the investigation, worked for the Russian special services and collected information about the consequences of Russian strikes on one of the capital's thermal power plants.
This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Filmed the aftermath of the strikes for Russian curators
According to the investigation, in February this year, the suspect photographed the aftermath of Russian attacks on one of the capital's CHP and passed these materials on to her curators.
Law enforcement officers established that the woman acted commissioned by representatives of the Russian Federation. She was given money for a taxi to complete her tasks and promised payment for the photos she passed on.
The investigation believes that the materials obtained could have been used to adjusting further attacks on the energy infrastructure of the capital.
Detention and suspicion
The suspect was detained by law enforcement officers. She has now been served a notice of suspicion.
The sanction of the article provides for up to 15 years' imprisonment or life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
