As of the morning of 26 March, the 1492nd day of Russia's large-scale aggression against Ukraine is underway. The defence forces are restraining the enemy's attempts to advance in various directions and inflicting significant losses.
Large-scale attacks along the entire frontline
Over the past day, 158 combat engagements were recorded on the frontline. Russian troops carried out 70 air strikes, dropping 231 guided aerial bombs. The occupiers used 9,414 kamikaze drones and fired 4,184 times, including 131 times from multiple launch rocket systems.
Localities in Dnipropetrovs'k and Zaporizhzhya regions came under air strikes. In particular, Velykomykhailivka, Havrylivka, Pidhavrylivka, Kolomyitsy, Novoselivka, Khrystoforivka, Vozdvyzhivka, Gulyaypilske, Yehorivka, Shyroke, Kopani, Dolyna, Verkhnya Tersa, Kamyanka, Voskresenka, Barvinivka, Novosoloshyne, Lyubymivka, Veselyanka and Novooleksandrivka were affected.
Actions of Ukrainian defenders and the situation in the areas of
Aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defence Forces hit one UAV control centre and eight areas of enemy manpower and equipment concentration.
On the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions The enemy made 89 attacks, four of which were from multiple rocket launchers, and carried out one air strike with four combat aircraft. Three engagements took place.
In the South Slobozhansky direction The enemy tried to break through the defences near Staritsa, Zybinove and Okhrimivka three times. In the Kupyansk sector, four attacks were registered in the direction of Nova Kruhliakivka, Kurylivka and Platonivka.
On the Liman direction the enemy attacked six times, trying to advance in the area of Droysheve, Lyman, Dibrova and Kopanka. In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian troops stopped eight enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Zakitne, Riznykivka, Platonivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector the enemy made one attempt to assault in the area of Chasovyi Yar. In the Kostyantynivka sector, the enemy attacked 16 times in the areas of Kostyantynivka, Pleshchyivka, Novopavlivka and in the direction of Illinivka and Toretske.
In the Pokrovske direction Ukrainian troops repelled 44 assaults in the areas of Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Novopidhorodne, Molodetske, Horikhe, Svitne, Novosergiyivka, as well as in the direction of Novyi Donbas, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Shevchenko.
In the Oleksandrivske direction the enemy attacked three times in the areas of Ternove, Oleksandrograd and Krasnohirske. In the Huliaipol sector, 17 attacks took place in the areas of Huliaipol, Varvarovka, Olenokostiantynivka, Zaliznychne and Myrne.
On the Orikhivskyi direction the enemy attacked in the area of Prymorske. In the Prydniprovskyi sector, two assault actions were recorded - towards Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilohrudyi Island.
In the Volyn and Polissya regions No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the areas of the conflict.
Context.
Ukrainian defenders continue to systematically destroy enemy forces and put up effective resistance in all areas of the frontline. Overall, this is the 1492nd day of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
