Attack on the Yaroslavl refinery

On the night of 28 March, drones attacked the Yaroslavl Oil Refinery in the Yaroslavl region of Russia. At least three areas of the plant were hit.

Fires broke out on the overpass, process equipment and in the finished product tank farm. The Yaroslavl refinery is the sixth largest in Russia and processes about 15 million tonnes of oil per year.

Missile attack on Promsintez plant«

This morning, an FP-5 Flamingo missile hit the Promsyntez chemical plant in Chapayevsk, Samara Region. The plant specialises in the production of explosives for ammunition, bombs and missiles.

Recently, Russia has seen an increase in the number of attacks on strategic enterprises in the fuel and energy and defence sectors. The Yaroslavl refinery and Promsyntez plant are important facilities for the Russian industry.
