Citizens across the country are loudly calling out the chain's stores U420 due to information about the sale of dangerous drugs, in particular to teenagers. New cases of pogroms and closures of outlets are recorded every day.
The U420 pogroms are gaining momentum
After the facts of the sale of dangerous «synthetics» and other drugs in U420 stores, including cases of sales to teenagers, were made public, a wave of pogroms began in various cities of Ukraine. People smashed windows, painted facades and blocked the work of the outlets on their own.
Every day there are new reports of the destruction of stores of this chain. Often, local residents close these outlets on their own, without waiting for law enforcement to act.
Advertising and public reaction
While social media continues to advertise U420 drug shops, activists and parents organise protests. They openly demonstrate what will happen to the stores that they say are poisoning children.
It is known that advertisements for such outlets appear on Telegram and other channels. However, more and more people are opposing the activities of U420 and calling for their closure.
Context.
The information about the sale of drugs in U420 stores, in particular to minors, caused a wide public outcry. The pogroms and the self-imposed closure of the outlets were a response to the inaction of official structures.
While some continue to advertise these stores, others are trying to stop their activities on their own.
