Since the beginning of the day, Russian troops have carried out 55 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces. The most intense fighting continues in the Pokrovske, Kostiantynivka and Huliaypillia sectors. The border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions came under massive artillery fire.
Massive shelling of the border: Sumy and Chernihiv regions
Today, Russian troops intensively shelled localities in Sumy region: Korenok, Bachivsk, Iskryskivka, Boyar-Lezhachi, Rohizne, and Ulanove. In Chernihiv region, Yasna Polyana and Kryvusha came under fire. A total of 65 attacks were recorded in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, including those involving multiple rocket launchers.
Hot spots in the frontline: Pokrovsk, Kostyantynivka, Huliaipil direction
In the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy attempted to push Ukrainian troops back 11 times in the areas of Bilytske, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Hryshyne, Myrnohrad and Novomykolaivka. In the Kostyantynivka sector, 17 attacks were registered near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchyivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka and Sofiyivka, four of which are still ongoing. In the Huliaipil sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled seven attacks and registered air strikes in the areas of Vozdvyzhenske, Novoselivka and Lyubytske.
The situation in other areas
In the South Slobozhansky sector, the enemy stormed positions in Vovchansk, Okhrimivka and Ambarne four times. In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy tried to improve its position near Kivsharivka and Novoosynove four times. In the Liman sector, Ukrainian troops repelled one breakthrough attempt. No active hostilities were registered in the Sloviansk and Kramatorsk sectors.

Overall, the situation at the front remains tense. Ukrainian troops continue to deplete the enemy along the entire contact line and in the rear, preventing significant changes in other areas.
