The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine calls on citizens to spend the funds received under the National Cashback programme by 30 June. If not used, these amounts will be returned to the state budget. The cashback programme continues to operate as usual - accruals for purchases of Ukrainian goods continue, and payments are made monthly after the 20th day of the month.

National cashback: deadline for spending money

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has reminded that all funds received under the National Cashback programme must be used by Ukrainians by 30 June. If the amount is not spent by the specified date, the balance will automatically be returned to the state budget, the ministry said.

According to the information Ministry of Economy, The cashback programme itself continues to operate unchanged. This means that Ukrainians will continue to receive accruals for purchases of Ukrainian goods, and payments will be made monthly after the 20th of the month.

How the cashback programme works

The «National cashback»was created to encourage the purchase of Ukrainian goods and support domestic producers. For each purchase of a certain category of goods, citizens are credited with cashback that can be spent on further purchases.

Cashback payments are made monthly, after the 20th day of the month. Citizens have the opportunity to use these funds to purchase goods or services specified in the terms of the programme. The accruals continue as usual, allowing consumers to plan their spending.

What will happen to unused funds

The Ministry of Economy emphasised that all funds received under the programme that were not used by 30 June will be returned to the state budget. This applies only to balances on users' accounts that have not been spent by the deadline.

At the same time, cashback accruals for new purchases will continue, and all payments made after the 20th of each month will be made as usual. Thus, citizens do not lose the opportunity to receive new funds under the programme.

Why it matters

Compliance with the deadline will help avoid the loss of funds that have already been credited to the programme users. For many Ukrainians, these payments are an additional incentive to support domestic producers and the country's economy.

The return of unused funds to the state budget ensures transparency in the use of public finances and effective management of funds. At the same time, the continuation of the programme creates an opportunity to further encourage citizens to buy Ukrainian goods.

The Ministry of Economy urges all participants of the programme to closely monitor the deadlines and use the accrued funds in a timely manner in order not to lose them and continue to support the national economy.
