Ukraine has recorded 63 cases of hantavirus since the beginning of the year

According to the Public Health Centre, 63 cases of hantavirus were confirmed in Ukraine in the first three months of 2026. All of them are caused by strains that are transmitted exclusively from rodents to humans, and no cases of human-to-human transmission have been reported.
