On the night of 28 May, units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces struck a number of important targets of the Russian occupiers. Among the targets hit were the ST-68 radar station in Crimea, drone control centres in Donetsk region and ammunition depots. On 27 May, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed an enemy control centre with heavy casualties.

Briefly about the main points

  • On the night of 28 May, the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit the ST-68 radar in Crimea.
  • UAV control points in Kalynove and Novohrodivka were destroyed.
  • The strike targeted warehouses of military equipment and ammunition in the areas of Mariupol, Novoselivka and Grabove.
  • On 27 May, an enemy command post in Paraskoviyivka was destroyed with 18 military casualties.

Damage to the ST-68 radar station in Crimea

Ukrainian Defence Forces strike at radar station «ST-68» located in Feodosia on the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. This station is designed to detect, track and transmit the coordinates of air targets in the enemy air defence system. The destruction of this facility significantly complicates the capabilities of the occupation forces in the airspace.

Damage to UAV control points in Donetsk region

Fire was also directed at the enemy's unmanned aerial vehicle control points near Kalynove and Novohrodivka in Donetsk region. The destruction of these points reduces the effectiveness of the enemy's reconnaissance and fire correction, worsening its combat capabilities in the region.

Destruction of logistics and ammunition depots

During the operation, logistics depots in the areas of Mariupol, Novoselivka Druha and Bugas were hit. In addition, an ammunition depot near Hrabove in the Donetsk region was destroyed. These strikes cause significant losses in the occupiers' supply chain, which affects their ability to conduct combat operations.

Destruction of the control centre in Paraskoviivka

On 27 May, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a command post near Paraskoviivka in Donetsk region. According to preliminary data, enemy losses amounted to 18 irretrievable servicemen. This weakens the command and control over the occupiers' units in this sector of the frontline.

Continuation of operations by the Ukrainian Defence Forces

The defence forces systematically conduct coercive measures Russia to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine. The destruction of important enemy military targets is part of this strategy, which is designed to weaken the occupiers' capabilities and bring Ukraine's victory closer.

Such operations demonstrate the ability of the Armed Forces to effectively influence key military targets in various directions, increasing the country's defence potential and undermining the enemy's aggressive potential.
