A successful operation by Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces
The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have reported a successful the destruction of the railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal on the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula. According to the Special Operations Forces, the bridge, which was used by Russian troops for logistics, sustained such severe damage that it has effectively ceased to exist as a transport infrastructure.
“The bridge had been reduced to ruins,” said Ukrainian military officials.

Along with the announcement of the successful operation, the Special Operations Forces released a video showing the moment the bridge was hit and the subsequent collapse of the structures. The footage quickly went viral on social media and military groups, generating a significant response among users.
Why was this bridge important?
The North Crimean Canal is one of the key infrastructure projects peninsulas. Railway crossings over it could have been used to transport military equipment, ammunition and logistical supplies for the occupying forces. Striking such targets complicates the logistics of the Russian forces and forces the occupying administration to seek alternative supply routes.
