Enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia
On the afternoon of 28 June, Russian forces carried out air strikes on one of the districts of Zaporizhzhia. One person was killed and 14 others were injured, including two children. Rescue workers quickly came to the aid of those affected and pulled a woman and a child from the rubble.
All the emergency services are on the scene, providing the necessary assistance. According to preliminary reports, there may be one more person trapped under the rubble, so rescue operations are continuing.
As a result of the attack, several residential buildings were partially destroyed, and neighbouring homes were also damaged. As a direct result of the explosion, a garage containing a car caught fire; emergency services extinguished the blaze, which covered an area of 25 square metres. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service provided support to 15 people, three of whom were children. Details regarding the casualties are being clarified.
