Agents of the Ukrainian partisan movement «ATESH» have reported an urgent evacuation of documents and equipment from the occupation administrations in Kerch and Feodosia, which is due to be completed by 3 July.

Urgent evacuation of documents from Crimea
Agents of the Ukrainian partisan movement «ATESH» reported, that the occupation administrations in Kerch and Feodosia have received an urgent order from the so-called Crimean authorities to fully evacuate valuable documents, archives and official equipment. According to information from the underground, the evacuation must be completed by 3 July inclusive.
Ban on going to work
Employees of the occupation administrations were also ordered not to report for work on 4 July. Representatives of other occupation administrations in the temporarily occupied Crimea received similar instructions.
The flight of officials
According to «ATESH», after receiving the order, some officials who had access to official transport and fuel took sick leave or health-related leave. They then hurriedly left Crimea and travelled to the Krasnodar Krai in Russia.
Possible reasons for evacuation
There are currently no official explanations as to why the occupying authorities have taken such action. At the same time, such measures may indicate preparations for possible “emergencies” or an attempt to secure official documents and valuable assets. There is currently no independent confirmation of the information published by the «ATESH» movement.
Why it matters
If the information is confirmed, the mass evacuation of documents and equipment could indicate heightened concern amongst the occupying administration in Crimea. Such actions have been observed on numerous occasions in the temporarily occupied territories ahead of significant military or security events.
