A massive attack on Kyiv
On the night of 5–6 July, Russian forces launched a massive combined attack on Kyiv. According to preliminary reports, the occupiers used dozens of ballistic missiles, several waves of cruise missiles and attack drones. Powerful explosions were heard in various parts of the capital, followed by large-scale fires.
Strikes on residential complexes and the Roshen building
According to local media and eyewitnesses, the attack resulted in a direct hit on the Roshen building in Kyiv, where a major fire broke out following the strike. The «Slavutych» residential complex was also hit, with the courtyard and surrounding area catching fire as a result of the explosions. In addition, there are reports of a fire at the «Varshavskyi» residential complex, which was also damaged by the combined Russian strike.
Emergency services are on the ground
