Dnipro, UkrMedia, 6 August — Five people were killed and a further 16 injured as a result of Russian attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region over the past 24 hours. The Kamyanske, Pavlohrad, Nikopol, Kryvyi Rih and Synelnykiv districts came under enemy fire. In total, Russia shelled settlements in the region nearly 60 times. Emergency services provided first aid to the injured, transported them to hospitals and extinguished fires caused by the strikes.

The Kamyanske District and Pavlohrad suffered the heaviest losses
Russian attacks in the Kamyanske district have claimed the lives of three people. A further five local residents have been injured.
Two people were killed and seven injured in Pavlohrad. Units from the State Emergency Service, medical staff and other emergency services were working at the sites of the strikes.
Rescue workers provided first aid to the injured and helped transport them to hospital. There is currently no information on the condition of those hospitalised.
There are casualties in the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts
Three people were injured in the Nikopol district as a result of shelling. Another person was injured in the Kryvyi Rih district.
In the Synelnykivskyi district, agricultural machinery, including a combine harvester, has been damaged. Around ten residential buildings have also been damaged.
No reports of casualties or injuries in this area have been received. Experts are continuing to survey the damaged areas and document the consequences of the Russian attacks.
Rescuers extinguish fires after shelling
Fires broke out in various parts of the region as a result of the strikes. Units of the State Emergency Service extinguished all reported fires and prevented them from spreading further.
Rescue workers, medical staff and law enforcement officers were called in to deal with the aftermath. Once the fire had been extinguished, experts inspected the damaged buildings and the surrounding areas.
Dnipro region is regularly coming under attack from various types of weaponry. The authorities are urging residents not to ignore air-raid sirens and to seek shelter immediately in the event of danger.
