The price depends on the method of registration
The price shown on iOS is approximately 31 UAH, or around 30%, higher than the price in the mobile browser. This comparison applies specifically to these methods of taking out a subscription.
A subscription taken out via a browser or Google Play can be upgraded to a full subscription YouTube Premium in the section on managing paid subscriptions to the service.
Which adverts and features are not included in the plan?
Premium Lite is not a completely ad-free subscription: adverts still appear in music videos, Shorts, search results and on the home page. YouTube Music is not included in the tariff.
Background playback and downloads are available for most non-music videos. Exceptions include Shorts and music content, specifically official music videos, tracks with static cover art, and some videos featuring partner music.
The Lite version also does not offer some of the features available in the full Premium version: the «Continue Watching» and «Skip Ahead» functions, the ability to add videos to a queue, and higher audio and video quality.
