In the Fastiv district of the Kyiv region, a large-scale fire broke out at an infrastructure facility following a Russian strike. Due to the extensive area affected by the fire, the high temperatures and heavy smoke, the State Emergency Service deployed additional personnel and equipment. The explosion caused a major fire in the Fastiv district

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on the consequences of the Russian attack on the morning of 6 September.

As a result. They managed to stop the fire from spreading, after which the fire was completely extinguished.

According to the information available, as a result of this fire No one was killed or injured. Details regarding the extent of the material damage and the nature of the damage to the infrastructure facility have not yet been made public.

The Kyiv region has come under a series of Russian attacks

The fire in the Fastiv district was one of the consequences of the new wave of attacks on the Kyiv region.

According to the regional authorities, over the past 24 hours, damage was caused in five districts of the Kyiv region 28 sites. These include private and block-of-flats properties, warehouses, railway tracks, the premises of an agricultural enterprise and transport.

Two people were killed in the Bucha district as a result of a separate Russian attack.

In the Fastiv district, following the extinguishing of a major fire, the emergency services are continuing to document the aftermath of the incident and assess the damage caused.
