In an interview with NewsNation, he did not specify what the US’s next move would be in the war with Iran, but stated that he would only agree to a deal that met American conditions. Against the backdrop of a seven-month war and the spread of hostilities to Yemen, Trump expressed confidence that the situation could be resolved.

During a telephone interview with NewsNation Donald Trump They asked whether he was planning a new large-scale military operation against Iran following previous statements about a possible escalation.
The US President replied that no decision had yet been taken.
«They want to strike a deal now,» Trump said.
He added that he would not agree to a deal that he considered unacceptable to the US. According to Trump, Tehran is seeking to negotiations due to the deterioration of the military and economic situation.

Earlier, US officials held a private meeting with Houthi representatives in Oman. The negotiations took place with the assistance of the Omani authorities.

The Houthis have significantly strengthened their positions in Yemen
The talks are taking place against the backdrop of a large-scale Houthi offensive along the Red Sea coast.
The group has seized strategically important territory near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, including the islands along the key maritime route between the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
