On the evening of 5 October, Russian troops attacked Kramatorsk using FPV drones. Two drones struck ambulances with precision, whilst another struck a multi-storey residential block. A 49-year-old woman was killed and four other people were injured. Three ambulances have been damaged.

Drones struck the ambulances

According to the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the attack on medical staff took place between from 22:00 to 22:25. Russian troops directed two FPV drones towards ambulances that were parked on one of the streets in Kramatorsk.

After the first strike, staff at the medical facility tried to save the vehicles. It was at that very moment that they came under the next attack.

The following people were injured three men. They were diagnosed with blast injuries, shrapnel wounds to the torso and limbs, burns and concussions. All of them received medical treatment.

An FPV drone crashed into a high-rise residential block

About. 22:10 An FPV drone struck a block of flats in Kramatorsk. One person was killed as a result of the impact A 49-year-old local woman. Another woman, aged 68, suffered a broken foot, shrapnel wounds to her torso and limbs, and concussion.

Photographs taken at the scene of the attack show significant damage to the upper floors of the building: some of the balconies and flats have been burnt out, and the façade is covered in soot following the fire.

FPV drones are increasingly targeting Kramatorsk

Kramatorsk and the surrounding settlements have recently been regularly targeted by FPV drones. Just yesterday, the police reported that a Russian drone had struck near a vehicle belonging to the «White Angel» evacuation team. The vehicle was damaged by debris, but the crew continued to evacuate civilians. The police noted that the frequency of FPV drone attacks in Kramatorsk and the surrounding area is increasing.

Following a fresh attack, the Kramatorsk Public Prosecutor’s Office has opened criminal investigations into the incidents war crimes.
