What is known about the «Azot» chemical plant?»
Novomoskovsk «Azot» — one of Russia’s largest chemical plants. The plant has been part of the EuroChem Group since 2002.
The company specialises in the production of ammonia, ammonium nitrate, urea, methanol and other chemical products.
Certain chemical products, in particular ammonium nitrate and nitric acid, can be used in the manufacture of explosives. The enterprise is therefore important not only for the agricultural sector but also for dual-use industrial supply chains.
