Ukrainian Flamingo missile outperforms US Tomahawk - The Independent
British edition The Independent reported that the newest Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile« by its characteristics is superior to the American Tomahawk«, which for decades was considered the standard for long-range weapons.
Technical advantages
According to sources in the domestic defence sector, «Flamingo has a range of up to 3000 km, that twice as much, than the US Tomahawk missile (approximately 1500 km).
In addition, the Ukrainian development is capable of carry more than a tonne of explosives, which makes it twice as powerful as its American counterpart.
«The FP-5 Flamingo is a technological breakthrough for the Ukrainian defence industry - a symbol of defence independence and a powerful argument in countering Russian aggression,» writes The Independent.

Flamingo missile created by Ukrainian engineers as part of development programme high-precision long-range weapons.
