Novorossiysk port resumes oil loading after two-day shutdown
The Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port has resumed loading oil after two days of downtime caused by a Ukrainian missile and UAV strike. This is reported by the agency RTRS with reference to the data LSEG and industry sources.
According to the agency, the port's berths have already two tankers loading of oil.

The port of Novorossiysk is one of Russia's key oil export hubs.
Its activities provide about 2.2 million barrels per day, which is approximately 2% of global supply.
The upload was halted due to infrastructure damage following the attack by Ukrainian missiles and drones.
Export operations resumed after emergency repairs and technical checks were carried out.
According to RTRS sources, the situation in the port remains tense, but the main operations have returned to normal.

Novorossiysk is a key point of shipment for oil via the Caspian Pipeline Consortium and other routes. Any interruption in the port's operations has a significant impact on Russia's energy revenues and the global oil market.
Attacks on Novorossiysk's infrastructure have become more frequent since 2024 - Ukraine is targeting facilities that provide logistics for the Russian military-industrial complex and energy sector.
