Chinese android robot sets Guinness World Record by covering 106 km in three days
Chinese android robot passes the 106 kilometres in three days, setting a new world record and getting into the Guinness World Records. This is reported by the People's Daily.
The robot moved almost continuously: the engineers ensured that the batteries were replaced quickly, which allowed the device to keep moving for long pauses. Orientation was carried out thanks to GPS navigation, The robot is equipped with infrared sensors and a stabilisation system that allows it to maintain balance even on difficult terrain.
According to the developers, the robot is able to move Day and night, rain or shine, and the technology used in it can be used in logistics, rescue operations and autonomous transport systems.
