Residential buildings and infrastructure damaged in five districts of Kyiv: there are dead and injured
Another attack on the capital damaged residential buildings and civilian infrastructure in Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, Dniprovskyi and Pecherskyi districts. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
According to the mayor Vitali Klitschko, As a result of the shelling, the following were killed two people, more seven were injured, Two of them were taken to hospital in serious condition.
Details of the attack
Law enforcement and rescuers are working in all affected areas. The victims were recorded:
broken windows in residential buildings;
destruction of a number of infrastructure facilities;
fires in some impact sites;
damaged cars and yard areas.
An investigative team is working on the ground and documenting the consequences of the attack.
Government response
The mayor of the capital stressed that the city is promptly engaging all services to eliminate the consequences, help the victims and restore the damaged facilities.
Kyiv residents are urged not to ignore the air raid alerts and to stay in shelters if possible.
