Thousands of Colombians fighting in Zaporizhzhia sector: they have become part of the international front
Zaporizhzhya OVA reports that in the Zaporizhzhya sector, together with the Ukrainian defence forces, the thousands of Colombians, that have already become part of the international front. About this writes UNIAN with reference to the administration.
How the Colombian military lives and serves
The report says that foreign soldiers at the zero positions have been provided with accommodation:
blindages with a warm zone,
small kitchen for cooking,
beds and sleeping places,
generator,
a place to dry clothes.
The Colombian soldiers are on the first line of defence for several weeks in a row and perform combat missions on a par with the Ukrainian military.
Context.
Foreign citizens supporting Ukraine with arms have become an important part of the defence since 2022. Representatives of Latin America are no exception: they join both the International Legion and various brigades of the Armed Forces.
