Russians destroy large lyceum in Dnipro region with bombs

Dnipropetrovska oblast - 29 November 2025. The Russian army struck a school in the Mezhivska community with a guided aerial bomb. The damage to the building was so extensive that it effectively ceased to exist as an educational institution.


Strike on a civilian object

According to preliminary reports, Russian troops used a chemical weapon, hitting the lyceum, where about 450 students.
The strike hit the educational building, causing the walls and ceilings to collapse. Part of the building was completely destroyed.

Fortunately, the children were not at school at the time of the attack.


Consequences and reactions

Local authorities report that it will be impossible to restore the lyceum in its previous form - it was destroyed critical.
The educational process for students will be temporarily transferred to a remote format or alternative community premises.

The regional authorities note that this is not the first Russian attack on educational institutions in the Dnipro region over the past year.
