Russians bombed Naberezhnyi market in Vyshhorod: one dead and one wounded

Vyshgorod, Kyiv region - 30 November 2025. Russian troops struck again in the Kyiv region, hitting the Naberezhny market in Vyshhorod. The explosion caused a fire to break out in a nearby high-rise building.
The SES reports on one dead person and six wounded.


Impact details

It is preliminarily known that the explosion occurred in the central part of the market. The blast wave smashed windows and caused localised fires. Several apartments in a nearby building caught fire.
Rescuers arrived promptly and began evacuating people and extinguishing the fire.


Casualties and destruction

The SES confirms that one person was killed, more six sustained injuries of varying degrees. The victims were hospitalised.
The market and the neighbouring high-rise building suffered significant damage: shopping arcades, facades, window structures and some residential premises were damaged.


Government response and work of services

Rescuers are continuing to eliminate the consequences, dismantle the rubble and check the building for further damage.
Local authorities are urging residents to refrain from staying near the epicentre of the explosion due to the risk of repeated collapses.


Context.

This is not the first time that the Vyshgorod agglomeration has been under Russian attack. The Naberezhnyi market and adjacent residential areas have already been damaged during previous massive attacks on the region.
