Kharkiv region: hostile drones cause fires, 52-year-old man injured

Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region - 30 November 2025. At night, Russian troops attacked the village of Ploske in the Velykoburlutska community with attack drones. The attack on private buildings caused large-scale fires and destruction.

Details of the attack

According to the SES, two attack drones hit the residential sector. The explosions set fire to a residential building and an outbuilding. The flames spread rapidly, and rescuers worked in conditions of heavy smoke and the risk of repeated explosions.

Affected by. 52-year-old man, who was hospitalised with injuries.

Elimination of the consequences

The following were involved in extinguishing the fires 15 rescuers and 4 units of SES equipment, including a medical team and a community rescue officer.
The fire was contained and prevented from spreading to neighbouring buildings.

Context.

Kharkiv region is regularly subject to kamikaze drone attacks and air strikes. Over the past month alone, the number of attacks on private buildings and infrastructure has increased in the region.
