The first payments of UAH 6,500 for vulnerable categories have been launched in Ukraine - they are available through Diia and the Pension Fund.

First UAH 6,500 payments for vulnerable categories of population launched in Ukraine - Svyrydenko

Ukraine has started paying one-off assistance in the amount of 6500 hryvnias for the most vulnerable categories of citizens. This was announced by the First Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko.

Who can receive the payment

According to Svyrydenko, the programme covers citizens who need the most social support. Among them:

  • Children under guardianship or care;

  • children with disabilities raised in foster families and children's homes;

  • Children from among internally displaced persons who receive housing allowance;

  • children from low-income families;

  • people with disabilities of group I among IDPs;

  • Single pensioners who receive a care allowance.

How many people have already applied

As of today, the following have applied for the programme 323,443 citizens. You can submit an application:

  • via the app «Action»;

  • or in a branch Pension Fund.

The deadline for submission is 17 December.

What you can spend your money on

The UAH 6,500 received can be spent exclusively on:

  • medicines;

  • clothing;

  • shoes.

The term of use of funds is 6 months from the moment it is credited to the account.
