Putin: «We will bring the SVO to the logical conclusion of its goals»

During the next statement dictator Vladimir Putin said that Russia would «bring the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the logical conclusion of its goals», effectively confirming its intention to continue aggression against Ukraine.

Among other things, he repeated traditional propaganda statements:

• «Donbas is the territory of Russia», which he called a «historical fact»;
• The territories returned from Ukraine are important, and «these lands have always been part of the Russian Federation».

The statements came amid active discussions around the US «peace plan» and growing domestic pressure on the Kremlin due to economic problems and heavy losses at the front.
