Zelenskyy declares unchanged position on territories in talks with Russia

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that despite the presence of many problematic issues in the negotiations with Russia, Ukraine's position on territorial integrity remains unchanged.

According to the head of state, Russia has long been aiming to to push Ukraine out of the east of the country, However, it fails to implement this plan.

«We have a lot of problematic issues. My position on the territories is unchanged. For a long time now, Russia has been making it its goal to keep Ukraine out of the east of the country. This has been their goal and they want to achieve it. They cannot achieve it on the frontline,» Zelenskyy said.

The President emphasised that Ukraine's position on territorial issues is well known both to international partners and to Russia itself.
