Kyivstar has opened an office in New York, located in Rockefeller Centre. The representative office will focus on engaging with investors, international partners and the business community. The company stated that the new office forms part of a strategy to expand the group’s international presence and promote the innovative and investment potential of Ukrainian business.

Briefly about the main points

  • Kyivstar’s office has opened at Rockefeller Centre in New York.
  • The representative office will work with investors and international partners.
  • The launch took place almost a year after the company was listed on Nasdaq.
  • Kyivstar Group is listed on the US stock exchange under the ticker symbol KYIV.

A permanent platform for doing business in the US market

The opening of the office was the next step following Kyivstar Group’s entry into Nasdaq. Trading in the group’s shares on the Nasdaq Global Select Market began on 15 August 2025 under the ticker symbol KYIV; this was the first listing of a Ukrainian company on a US stock exchange.

The New York office is set to become a permanent hub for engaging with the international investment and business community. The group has already held meetings in the city with investors and analysts, so the office can bridge the gap between the issuer, its partners and participants in the US market. The opening of the office does not in itself imply the raising of new capital or the conclusion of specific deals.

Kyivstar will represent Ukraine’s digital ecosystem

The company is positioning its new office as an opportunity to tell an international audience about Ukrainian business. Kyivstar The Group owns the telecoms operator Kyivstar PJSC and is developing an ecosystem that includes, amongst others, Uklon, Helsi, Kyivstar TV, and B2B solutions in the fields of big data, cloud services and cybersecurity.

According to the results for the first quarter of 2026, the group’s digital revenue rose by 256.6% year-on-year to $67 million, accounting for 20.9% of total revenue. However, this growth is partly attributable to acquisitions and the consolidation of assets, notably Uklon and Tabletki.ua. VEON retains a controlling stake in Kyivstar Group — 83.6% following the secondary placement in February 2026.

Investment presence outside Ukraine

The New York office complements the group’s international strategy, given its high profile in the US. Kyivstar and VEON have also announced their intention to invest $1 billion between 2023 and 2027 in Ukraine’s digital infrastructure, technological development, social initiatives, charitable causes and strategic acquisitions.

For a company, a representative office can serve as a tool for more systematic communication with global partners and investors. For Ukrainian businesses, such a presence in the US financial centre creates an additional channel through which the country’s investment opportunities can be showcased to an international audience.
