Germany has supplied Ukraine with over 58 tonnes of power generation equipment

German partners have delivered over 58 tonnes of energy equipment to critical infrastructure facilities in the Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zakarpattia and Kirovohrad regions, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy. The equipment is to be used for repair and restoration work, as well as to maintain a reliable electricity supply in these regions.

The supplies were dispatched from the warehouses of the Ministry of Energy’s emergency energy aid hubs. Among the German partners who provided assistance were Amprion GmbH, LEW Verteilnetz GmbH, Tyczka Energy GmbH and X2 GmbH.

This notice is addressed to critical infrastructure organisations in the Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zakarpattia and Kirovohrad regions.

The batch includes energy storage systems and solar equipment

The aid comprises electrical and power equipment, energy storage systems, solar panels, inverters and other equipment. It will be used for repairs and restoration work, as well as to ensure a reliable electricity supply.

Corporate donations form part of a wider German campaign to support the Ukrainian energy sector, which is being co-ordinated by GIZ through the Secretariat of the German-Ukrainian Energy Partnership on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
