Monitoring channels are issuing warnings about a possible large-scale missile and drone attack by Russia on Ukraine within the next 24 hours. According to unconfirmed reports, Russian forces may deploy strategic aircraft, missile-carrying ships and hundreds of attack drones. Energy and transport infrastructure facilities are cited as likely targets. However, there is currently no official confirmation of these forecasts.

What is being reported about preparations for a Russian attack
Widespread reports claim that Russia is preparing a combined attack involving aircraft Tu-95MS and the Tu-160, naval platforms carrying cruise missiles, and land-based missile systems.
The authors of the warning cite the possible deployment of more than 70 X-101 cruise missiles, up to 32 «Kalibr» missiles, dozens of ballistic and other missiles, as well as up to 880 attack drones.
Separate mention is made of a possible threat to the central, western, southern and eastern regions of Ukraine.
Potential targets include electrical substations, power generation facilities, heating infrastructure and the railway.
However, the quantities of weaponry mentioned, the composition of the Russian forces and the timeframe for a possible strike have not been confirmed by the Ukrainian Air Force or any other official sources. The information requires further verification.
The Ukrainian power grid has already suffered the consequences of Russian attacks
The warning came against the backdrop of fresh problems in the Ukrainian power grid caused by previous Russian shelling.
NEC «Ukrenergo» has announced that on 2 November, some regions of Ukraine will be subject to hourly power cuts ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 stages. The restrictions are scheduled to run from 06:00 to 23:59.
During this same period, power restrictions are planned for industrial consumers.
The reason is said to be the energy sector consequences of massive Russian attacks on energy infrastructure. Ukrenergo emphasised that the situation may change over the course of the day.
At the same time, the power cuts that have been implemented do not confirm reports of preparations for a new attack.
