Statement by the President of Iran
President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian stressed the importance of diplomatic efforts in resolving international issues. He stressed that Tehran prefers diplomacy, particularly in regional affairs and in relations with Western countries.
At the same time, Pezeshkian noted that Iran does not trust the United States. In his opinion, previous experience of cooperation with Washington has shown that the American side should be cautious.
