Last night in Kyiv region, a Russian guided kamikaze drone, the Shahed, crashed into the wall of the house of the adviser to the Minister of Defence, Serhiy «Flash» Beskrestnov. The building was destroyed, and Beskrestnov himself was wounded but survived and is in hospital.
Night attack on the councilor's house
On the night of 20 April 2026, the adviser to the Minister of Defence Sergey «Flash» Beskrestnov was the target of an attack by Russia. According to him, a Shahed kamikaze drone hit the wall of his house in Kyiv region.
The building was destroyed as a result of the strike, and Beskrestnov himself was injured. According to official information, he survived and is currently in hospital.
Sergey Beskrestnov's reaction
After the incident, Sergei Beskrestnov said that he had expected such a development. He stated his intention to continue his work, despite his injury and the attempted assassination attempt.
Beskrestnov thanked everyone who supported him and expressed confidence in his future activities as an advisor to the Minister of Defence.

The attack on the house of the adviser to the Minister of Defence was another example of targeted attacks on civilians and officials in Kyiv region. Such incidents highlight the urgency of security issues for the authorities.
