What conditions has the High Anti-Corruption Court imposed in the «Carthage» case?»
The investigating judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court considered the applications submitted by NABU detectives, as endorsed by prosecutors from the Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, and extended the preventive measures against the three suspects.
At the same time, the court partially granted the defence’s application and revised the bail amounts:
- Serhiy Kropiva — from 120 million to 93 million hryvnias.
- Yelyzaveta Ivakhnenko («Muse») — from 20 million to 15 million hryvnias.
- Oleksandr Didych, Kropiva’s solicitor and authorised representative — from 15 million to 11.6 million hryvnias.
A reduction in bail does not mean that the suspects will be released. All three remain in custody.
If they are released on bail, they must hand over their travel documents, wear electronic tags, appear when summoned by the investigating authorities and the court, and comply with other procedural restrictions.
What are Kropiva and his accomplices suspected of?
According to the NABU and the SAP, Serhiy Kropiva set up and led a criminal organisation in 2025, whose members systematically received money for providing cover for a network of fraudulent call centres.
Investigators believe that the official used his professional connections to ensure the smooth running of an illegal business.
According to law enforcement agencies, the proceeds were laundered through the purchase of property, luxury cars, watches and jewellery. Some of the assets were registered in the names of close relatives.
Yelyzaveta Ivakhnenko is suspected of being involved in the laundering of illicit proceeds. In the records of covert investigative operations, she appears under the alias «Muse».
The investigation also links lawyer Oleksandr Didych to money-laundering operations.
During previous court hearings, Kropiva and Ivakhnenko denied any involvement in the offences with which they were charged.
The investigation into the «Carthage» case is ongoing. The court has not established the suspects’ guilt.
