In the Zhytomyr region, six people, including three children, were injured as a result of a Russian attack. Russian forces struck an agricultural enterprise, and the blast wave damaged nearby residential buildings and public facilities. The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the region reported on the consequences of the strike.

Rescue workers and bomb disposal experts are surveying the area
Units from the State Emergency Service and other emergency services are working at the scene. Rescue workers are clearing up the aftermath of the shelling, dismantling damaged structures and inspecting buildings.
A separate task is being carried out by the State Emergency Service’s bomb disposal experts. They are searching the area for unexploded ordnance and other explosive objects. Until the inspection is complete, residents are urged not to approach or touch any suspicious objects. Any dangerous finds should be reported by dialling 101 or 102.
Aid is being organised for local residents
Specialists from the State Emergency Service, together with volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross rapid response team, are setting up special aid posts near the site of the attack.
There, those affected and residents of damaged homes can receive essential initial support. Psychologists from the regional office of the State Emergency Service are also working with people to help them cope with acute stress reactions following the explosions.
The full extent of the damage is still being assessed. Once the emergency work has been completed, experts will need to inspect the damaged homes and community facilities to determine whether they remain fit for further use.
