In early August 2026, specialists from Group 13, a special operations unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, struck two S-400 air defence system launchers «Triumph» air defence systems and the control antenna of an «Orion» UAV. The attack was carried out using Magura multi-purpose maritime platforms — FPV carriers. The estimated losses to the Russian occupying forces could run into tens of millions of dollars.

On the night of 25–26 July 2026, the Main Intelligence Directorate also reported the destruction of one launcher in Crimea С-400 and the 96L6 radar station. That incident marked the first publicly announced military intelligence operation against components of this anti-aircraft missile system on the peninsula.
