In Sloviansk, firefighters put out a fire in a residential building. They also managed to contain a major blaze in two warehouse buildings.
In Kramatorsk, fires were extinguished in the basement of a high-rise block, a detached house, a single-storey building and on a plot of land covered with dry vegetation.

Due to the risk of secondary explosions, the firefighters were forced to suspend their clean-up operations. Such pauses can prolong the fire-fighting operation and increase the risk of the fire spreading if the sources of the blaze have not yet been contained.
This episode continues a series of attacks in the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk conurbation. In July, according to police and the Donetsk Regional Administration, both towns had already come under attack, resulting in casualties and damage to residential buildings. Between the start of July and 22 July, 2,037 people left the Sloviansk community and 3,165 left the Kramatorsk community.
