Siberia: Putin has lost three allies - his downfall is inevitable

Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga said that Russian President Vladimir Putin has already lost three of its key allies - the Bashar al-Assad, Nicolas Maduro and Ali Khamenei.

«Assad, Maduro, and now Khamenei. And Putin's fall is inevitable one day. Together we must make every effort to bring this joyful day closer,» Sibiga wrote.

According to him, the Kremlin has failed to help any of its partners.

Context of the statement

The statement came amid a sharp deterioration in the geopolitical situation and reports of the loss of positions of Russia's allies in the international arena.

Ukraine's Foreign Ministry emphasises that Moscow's isolation is growing and its circle of partners is shrinking.

What it means

Analysts note that such statements are part of the information and diplomatic pressure on Russia amid the ongoing war against Ukraine.

At the same time, the Kremlin has not publicly commented on the words of the Ukrainian foreign minister.
