Fuel prices in Ukraine have risen sharply: prices may reach UAH 90 per litre
A new jump in fuel prices has been recorded in Ukraine. According to a fuel market expert Dmitry Lyoushkin, Overnight, the price of petrol increased by about UAH 5 per litre.
The expert warns that Ukrainian drivers may not see cheaper fuel in the near future.
How much can petrol cost
According to Leushkin, fuel at the entrance to Ukraine already costs about 85 hryvnias per litre, which automatically increases retail prices at petrol stations.
In his opinion, the Petrol at large petrol stations can cost around 90 hryvnias per litre, while at smaller petrol stations the price can be around 85 hryvnias.
Fuel reserves will not last long
The expert also drew attention to the situation with fuel stocks. According to him, due to a sharp increase in demand and limited storage capacity in the country reserves are enough for about 10 days.
An additional factor is lack of oil depots, This makes it difficult to accumulate strategic reserves.
Can prices go down
Even if the market situation stabilises, prices may only partially recover.
According to the expert, even in the event of a rollback fuel prices will remain significantly higher, than it was before.
