Igor Terekhov refuted the predictions of sociologists about a possible joint political party with By Daniil Getmantsev. According to him, no such project has existed and will not exist.
Terekhov responds to rumours about the party
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said he had no plans to form a political party with MP Danylo Hetmantsev. He stressed that there has been no joint political project, and there will be none in the future.
Terekhov also urged sociologists not to waste time studying non-existent political scenarios. According to him, such studies do not correspond to reality.
Reaction to the results of the survey
Spring survey SOCIS showed that the likely party of city and regional officials, which could include Vitaly Kim, Ihor Terekhov and Danylo Hetmantsev, would have received 13.7% of Ukrainian support.
Terekhov stressed that the elections are «not at the right time», and the party predicted by sociologists did not exist and will not exist.
Context.
According to sociologists, the idea of creating a new political force of local government representatives has been discussed in the public space. However, there is no official confirmation of the creation of such a party.
